Only minutes away on foot you can pay a visit to the archeological, maritime and folklore museums, the byzantine and Post-Byzantine Collection, the Synagogue, mosques, the Center of Mediterranean Architecture and the Venetian Arsenali. Other local hallmarks such as the church of Trimartyri and the Municipal Market of Chania are nearby, as well as the public stadium for those of you who do not want to miss out your regular workout. For those who don’t wish to rent a car during their holiday, Chania offer easy bus access to Rethymno and Heraklion from the main bus station, which is 5  minutes away on foot.
